Chinese Translators Journal (CTJ) is a scholarly publication sponsored by the Translators Association of China. A peer-reviewed bimonthly in Chinese, CTJ is committed to promoting translation both as a socio-cultural practice and as an area of theoretical inquiry. The Journal aims to stimulate innovative research on all translation-related issues. It offers a forum for China’s translators, interpreters and scholars of translation studies to share with one another their fresh ideas and new f indings, and to exchange views with their international counterparts as well. 

 

CTJ welcomes contributions that deal with a wide generic range of topics, from conference interpreting to pedagogy of translation. It also encourages discussions based on a diversity of methodological perspectives. Submissions will be evaluated initially by the Editorial Department. Those found suitable for the Journal will then go through a double-blind peer review process. To facilitate this process, avoid self-identif ication in the text proper of the MS, and provide instead a separate cover page with the title of the article, the name of the author and his/her institutional aff iliation. The Editor’s decision on a submission is normally made within 90 days.
